When Roger asked me to share this experience with Allison, I immediately knew I had to say yes. This was a moment of deep surrender—of letting go and truly listening to my body. I believe sharing it holds value for others, too. 

It was a journey evening in Boca Raton, Florida, where the energy was set for expansion. That night, the medicine guided me to a profound sense of internal connection pull toward the feminine and the beauty of its support. After being in the medicine for a few hours, I found myself captivated by Allison and her mesmerizing singing. 

For those who have had the privilege of experiencing Allison’s voice, you know the magic it carries. Earlier in the journey, she sang while playing the drum, her voice resonating powerfully in the sacred space. The sound was pure, raw, and deeply moving. I felt an undeniable call toward it. 

At that moment, I knew exactly what I needed. I needed to be in Allison’s lap, to be held and sung to. So, without hesitation, I sat up and, with a sense of urgency, crawled toward her. I looked into her eyes and asked, “Allison, can I lay in your lap? Will you sing to me?” 

She smiled, without hesitation, and said, “Absolutely.” 

I flipped onto my back, resting my head gently in her hands, and with love, she began to sing—to me, to the group, to the moment itself. It was a gift beyond words. To be held by such a beautiful soul, to receive her song, and, most importantly, to allow myself to ask for what I needed, this was the true magic of the medicine.

This experience was a reminder of the power of community, of deep, unspoken connection, and of the courage it takes to embrace our desires without fear. As I write this, my heart overflows with love and gratitude. 

This is what being human is all about—love, connection, and community.
